Design and art direction
 

The City of Leon Book Fair is held yearly at the Poliforum facilities in Leon Guanajuato. The reported number of visitors in 2017 was approximately 98,000. Under the concept of ‘Leer te lleva’ Reading takes you [places], a friendly character named Journey uses a book as a paraglide to guide readers in their adventures.

 

As chief of the design team of the Department of Culture for the City of Leon, I was in charge of the concept, design, and art direction.

 

Some of the materials produced were visual identity, posters, programs, environmental graphics, stationery, billboards, local and national print media insertions, banners for social media, and souvenirs.
